Documentary short film "Be Yourself"User's  MTÜ BEU Charitable Foundation project in the category Film & Photo

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Friends! You helped us and we did it!

A camp for children with special needs took place: a whole week of surfing and yoga on the island of Aegna. We have captured unique footage that inspires you to overcome the impossible!

We, our volunteers, parents and the guys themselves, really want to share our invaluable experience and make a real documentary film out of the chronicle. To participate in the most famous film festivals, we lack one thing: to professionally process the picture and sound during editing.

The film could inspire enthusiasts around the world to open such camps since in addition to happy faces, we filmed the test results of participants before and after the classes.

Our organizing team is already moving on. We are looking for new locations for the camp so that rehabilitation for children is available all year round and is less dependent on the weather. A film about the first camp in Estonia would greatly help to find like-minded people and sponsors for more rapid development of the project.

Once again, we thank all the volunteers and subscribers of Hooandja who believed in our children with special needs, revealed to them the element of waves and faith in their own strength! It was unforgettable and worthy to show to the whole world.

BUDGET

  • If we collect 1500 euros, we will be able to finish the most budgetary version of the film. The money will be used to rent minimal professional equipment for documentary editing by volunteers.
  • If we collect 3500 euroswe will be able to hire professionals to work on the footage of the chronicle.
  • If we can collect 9000 euros, we will be able to adequately represent the film at film festivals such as Cannes Film FestivalPÖFF FestivalEurope Film FestivalBerlin Film Festival, etc.

The delivery of the rewards will be carried out on the expense of the campaign authors.
